Fuel Cell
Fuel cells turn fuel into electricity without combustion, and are nowadays touted by some advocates as a way to create rapidly refuelable zero-emission vehicles. But they're not a new thing, and the first fuel cell vehicle wasn't a 21st-century Toyota or Honda or GM effort, it was this 1959 Allis Chalmers tractor.
